Acre is a Fort Worth distillery but the botanicals sourced from around the globe, including Italian juniper berries, French lavender, Jamaican allspice, Guatemalan cardamom, and Indian fennel. The gin won DOUBLE GOLD 2019 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. SILVER 2016 at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition and is my favorite gin. This is not a gin with a high juniper content. There is no feeling of Christmas trees here. The prevailing flavor for me is the lavender. I don’t normally pair up cigars with gin, but I stumbled upon this by happy accident and found it pairs well with very strong cigars. The very strong cigars normally need something very sweet, but this gin is a good non-sweet alternative. It is bottled at 94 proof and around $30. This is a must try. Especially if you don’t like gin.

  1. The wife likes Gin. I don’t. Except this. I have said it on a podcast, the Two Minnies Gin sets the bar for what Gin should be like. As Darrell said, this is a must try.
