A medium-bodied, Costa Rican Maduro wrapper; Honduran, Dominican, and Colombian filler aged in cedar for 5 years; with a Nicaraguan binder. This one was 6.25” x 56. Flavors of pepper, cedar, and toast.  It is a large cigar, but smokes quickly because it is loosely packed. The flavor was good and the cedar is the strongest flavor. The smoke is mild and the cedar is paired with earthy flavor. There is a big problem with this cigar though. The cigar is very loose and the ash does not hold very long. It will fall off the cherry at 1/2 long. In fact, it will snow down ash on you as you smoke it. The ash storm is perpetual and independent of how often you ash the cigar. At $10 in a shop and $5 online I think this cigar is a pass. It is a limited run so I think they’ll be taking this back to the drawing board before they continue. I look forward to the corrected model, but won’t get another of these.
