The La Flor Dominicana (LFD) Colorado Oscuro No.4 which I had was a 5-1/4 x 54 sporting a Nicaraguan Habano Wrapper, Dominican Binder, and a Dominican and Nicaraguan Filler.

After about an inch into it, I got what seemed to me as a coffee flavor.  After not being able to discern much else, I looked up what it was listed as having.  It is listed as having notes of Leather, Espresso, and Spice.  So I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get the coffee from it.

To start out it is a little heavy in flavor.  It is full, but not knock you over bold.  With all that it is a smooth smoke.  It looked good with the dark wrapper and great construction.  It was a little dry around the tip, but the first third ended up yielded some of that spicy flavor.

Getting about half-way through it became full on coffee for me.  Moving through the last third it got a little stronger with some more of the spice flavor.  It ended up being a very nice stick.

Nothing better than a good stick enjoyed with great folks at our local cigar bar.
