This was the Toro at 6×52. Made from all 4 year old tobacco it has a Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaraguan and Ecuadorian filler. It has a beautiful silky wrapper and a medium draw. My liquor pairing was distracting so I had to ditch it and smoke it by itself. It was too good to let get overpowered by the liquor. It smoked for a good hour and was pleasant all the way through. Again, in Micallef style it lit with and immediate good flavor and did not have to ‘settle in’ before it good good. The blend is distinctly Micallef. The brand has a distinctive flavor I’ve tasted in several of the other lines, although I’ve not had all of them yet. It is a large line. The MSRP is $10 although I got this one as a sample from the 2nd Annual Cigar & Spirits Magazine tasting event. This stick is a must buy as I’ve been saying about all of the Micallef line so far. This one doesn’t break my love of the manufacture. It strengthens it.
