A full bodied Dominican cigar. Aged with a dark Ecuadorian Habana 2000 wrapper with Dominican filler and wrapper. I got this cigar at the 2nd Annual Cigar and Spirits Magazine event. It is listed as an $8 cigar. Frankly, there are other cigars in this category I would buy 1st. This was the 4 1/2″ by 52. It smoked for 40 minutes which is pretty good for a cigar of this size. It started off very smooth and pleasant. It’s definitely a bold cigar and the smoke is heavy as a full bodied cigar is. The retrohale is also a bit rough. You can’t use it too much to get your flavors. In the end it got a bit rough and left a ‘ahem’ in the back of my throat which is why I would smoke it again if handed one, but wouldn’t spend $8 on another. Overall a good smoke, but not fabulous.
