I have heard Rob and Bryant from CigarTalk Podcast mention Lot23 several times. I had yet to try one until now. I picked up the Connecticut Toro 6 x 50. It was a nice medium cigar with several different flavors. I got an earthy, pepper, and toasted flavor. Enjoyed that at En Fuego in Murphy, Tx with Darrell and Vinny there. (Check out Podcast Ep 25 to catch the interview with Vinny)

Used a v-cut on this one, but it had a generous cap fit for any style of cut you prefer. Through the first third there were not issues at all. About half way through a crack in the wrapper developed coming off one end of the v-cut and at the end. It did not affect the draw or the smoke, just was a little annoying. I don’t want to judge the line off of one cigar, so I reserve any judgement until I have had some more. As a result of the cracks in the wrapper, I left the band on until the burn was right at the band.
Smoked it down to the end. Thankfully the cracks did not meet and the wrapper stayed on.
Will do a follow-up on this after I have had some more.
