The Cigar

Ave Maria Immaculata

Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper. Nicaraguan Binder. Mixed Cuban seed Nicaraguan Filler. Mellow to Medium, 6 x 54. MSRP $7.50. Vinny was smoking the AJ Fernandez New World as we did not have another Ave Maria Immaculata. We both got pepper and woody, but Bill got another spice that he could not quite place. The construction is great. Even burn, clean wrapper and beautiful band. If you are looking at moving from a mild with not much flavor to a stick with some flavor profile, this is a good recommendation

The Liquor

Buffalo Trace Eagle Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon 10Yr. 90 Proof.

#1 Mashbill from Buffalo Tracer. MSRP $29. In North Texas they fly off the shelf and it can be difficult to find. Vinny started out drinking the BSB (Brown Sugar Bourbon) 103. Which is a very sweet bourbon. After a bit, he switches over to the Eagle Rare. It is a bit sweeter than the Buffalo Tracer.

The More

LoBue Law, PLLC.
Tonight we interview a guest. Vincent (Vinny) LoBue who started his own Law Firm specializing in Bankruptcy. Vinny has been working in Bankruptcy for 25 years on the side of the Creditors. Now he has switched roles and is defending Debtors.

His main goal is to help and educate people and clients on who may be in the need to “start fresh”. Unlike some other Bankruptcy Firms, you will not deal with any legal assistants. You will speak directly with a lawyer, have meetings with a lawyer, and your questions will be answered by a lawyer. His website is https://thelobuelaw.com/ and phone number is (972) 695-9444.

After 25 years on the Creditor side, Vinny knows the ins and outs in this market. Starting his own Firm began to come to mind after attending the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT). It is an organization of Creditors and Debtors attorneys attend and have discussions. Thinking about those who had their own firm, Vinny starting wondering, “Why couldn’t I do something like this”. Since he was working for Chase, there was not much he could do as he needs to avoid any conflict of interest. An opportunity presented itself which allowed him to break away from Chase and work as a contractor for Citi. This created a scenario where there would be no conflict of interest.

The ground work of creating the law first started in December 2019 with finding office space, creating a website, finding software and starting some marking and leads. These are all the business aspects of the firm that does come with some learning curve. However, the law, filling and court aspects Vinny has down pat. He remembers filing papers with courts before they started doing things electronically. The other thing about Vinny is he cares about the people he is representing. With a free consultation, if you don’t need his services he will tell you. If you do need his services he will up front and straight about what can be done, how it will happen, and what the costs will be.

We go over what are some of the reasons why someone would might come to need bankruptcy. Some of the things discussed are Medical, Losing a Job, and bad decisions. For the Medical long term care for things such as cancer or even just having an accident and incurring those costs. Losing a job can be a big one. This can be a big one when you are living off of your debt. There are bad decision with finances and credit that can get you in trouble when some kind of emergency pops up and throughs a wrench in the best laid plans.

Vinny has a Bankruptcy Blog that is worth checking out even if you are not in need of a bankruptcy lawyer. The posts are informative and can start you thinking about what can happen through no fault of your own. We recommend you check it out. (https://thelobuelaw.com/the-bankruptcy-blog). If you think you might be in a need to look into bankruptcy, then one of the Bankruptcy Blog posts you should check out is the Bankruptcy Means Test. (https://thelobuelaw.com/the-bankruptcy-blog/f/what-does-the-means-test-mean-to-you).

If you are in the need to file bankruptcy, when you should file is a big question. When you need it and and you put off filing, it can make your bankruptcy case harder, make your recovery take longer and remove money from your pocket that you could otherwise keep. Vinny has a Blog post on the Stigma (https://thelobuelaw.com/the-bankruptcy-blog/f/the-stigma-of-bankruptcy), but you should realize that if you can’t get that “fresh start”, get back on your feet, rebuild your credit, and become a contributing member of the economy again, is going to make your struggle longer and not help you or anyone else.

Not all things can be discharged. To know for sure be sure to reach out a Bankruptcy Lawyer. Of course, we recommend Vinny at The LoBue Law.
