This Italia was the 6X60 Piazza. It’s Medium – Full with a Honduran Habano Wrapper. Italian, Nicaraguan, Peruvian filler. A 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado. It’s described as creamy, fruity, and spicy. As I said in the excerpt, it’s been a consistent cigar for years. The construction is always spot on. I’ve smoked them for 10 years and never had a plugged one or tossed it because ‘it just came apart’. Even as a full cigar it’s not going to overwhelm anyone, you can smoke this in the summer and be good. The smoke is full. The smoke rings I blew lingered. The spicy they describe isn’t pepper. It’s more mellow than that. This gordo will smoke for 90 minutes easy. This cigar and the Brazilia were 2 reasons I became a big CAO fan. There aren’t many cigars that have Italian tobacco in them so this one is going to be a little unique. At about $6 a stick it’s easy to call this one a good deal. You should definitely try one if you haven’t yet.
