The Cigar
AVO Syncro Nicaragua Fogata 6 x 60
More of a mild cigar, but with a very heavy smoke. This one they call a Toro Special, but it comes down to being more of a Gordo. For being such a heavy smoke, you would think this would be a more medium to bold flavor, but it is not. The main flavor that comesThe retrohale is smooth and gives a big hint of cedar. Bill did have a slight issue with an uneven burn even through there was no wind to speak of. Overall a great cigar. A mild with heavy smoke and flavor. Give it a try.
The Liquor
Bees Knees
The Bees Knees is a mixed drink with made from Gin, lemon juice, and honey. In this show we make the mixed drinks with four different Gins. Acre Wooded, Acre Two Minnies, Bluecoat, and Bombay Saphire.
Acre Wooded Gin: It was a very nice flavor with the honey.
Bluecoat Gin: This mix was up front and in your face Juniper. Not a really the best combination of ingredients.
Bombay Sapphire: The Bombay did not go well in this drink.
Acre Two Minnines Gin: The Two Minnies went really well with this drink mix. The smell of the Lavender comes through and was a welcome taste and smell after the Bombay Samphire in this mix.
In the end our recommendation is to not make the Bees Knees and instead make the Tom Collins.

About Avo Uvezian
Avo was part of a Jazz band called the Lebanon Boys. Received a contract to perform at a hotel in Baghdad where they stayed for one year. After this, they signed a contract to perform at a hotel in Iran. While there, Avo received an invitation from Shah Reza Pahlavi to perform at his palace and become the Shah’s Pianist. In 1983 Avo had a Cuban cigar after his daughter’s Christening and was not happy with how expensive they were. Avo Uvezian traveled to the Dominican Republic, where he searched for two years for a satisfactory production facility. In the first year, 120,000 Avo cigars were sold. By the third year, Avo sold over 750,000 cigars. In 1995, Davidoff paid Avo Uvezian an estimated $10 million for the rights to distribute his cigars. In 1996, more that two million Avo cigars were sold. Unfortunately, in 2017 Avo died at the age of 91.

Kinda surprised y’all didn’t use Aviation gin. I’m not a fan of gin, but I can name that one because I love Ryan Reynolds and he pushes that since he owns it.
Yep, we should have gotten that one. We are fans of Ryan Reynolds as well (especially DeadPool). Guess we will have to come up with a reason to do another Gin show. 🙂
Lol @ Darrell saying he doesn’t have any friends other than Bill. He strikes me as an extrovert!
Are engineers every truly an extroverts? Maybe he is pretending? 🙂
