The Signature line has an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. This one was in the Robusto (5.0″ x 54) and this is just the right size for this cigar. As a full bodied cigar it could be a little overwhelming to smoke the Gigante version of this. The smoke is heavy, but not the heaviest I’ve ever seen. The construction and draw were excellent.
The full flavor was dominantly woody and earthy for me. It didn’t clash with the scotch I had and it was very smooth without any lasting heavy after taste in my mouth.
It has a 91-rating with notes “Bold impressions of smoked meat, leather and mesquite are elegantly interwoven with sweet touches of dried stone fruits, caramel and a raw cocoa bean finish.” A review of “Rich, full-bodied notes of aromatic spice, cedar, and leather, along with a slight cinnamon nuance” from Cigars International.
At $3.50 this is a great stick. Even at the MSRP I’d buy this in a shop for $5. A good value and a wonderful evening.
