This is a 5 X 50 Robusto in with all Cuban contents. If you were not aware they have similar purity laws as the Germans have for beer. Cuban cigars must be 100% Cuban. Wrapper, filler, binder all Cuban. Certainly listed as a full bodied but it is so smooth that I think of it as a medium fullness. The construction was perfect and the draw was easy. It didn’t require any correction during smoking.

Another nice characteristic is that it did not take 1/2 of burning to develop. It had its flavor on 1st draw. There was minimal change from start to finish, but was unique in that it seemed to get milder at the very end. Often as the heat of the cherry gets closer to you the smoke gets hotter, stronger, and sometimes acrid. This got smoother and milder; although I was talking a lot so it didn’t threaten to get hot.

The cigar would be an excellent choice for everyone and an impressive gift to anyone. At $10 a stick you can’t find many more this good at this price. If you get the opportunity, don’t pass on it. Get one of these D series sticks.
