I try not to review cigars and liquors that no one can get, but with Cuban cigars becoming more available, and having gotten my hands on some in Belize, I thought I’d put one up. This was a $22 stick and is all Cuban construction. It is a 5 X 52 making it a Robusto. Beautiful construction and wrapper. The wrapper had that oily sheen I’m drawn to. It was immediately delicious. No waiting for the 1st half inch before it got good. I took my time so I don’t know if it would have gotten hot or not. I had this with some Ron Zacapa and the two paired beautifully. It was a mild to medium body with a thick smoke. It was mild spice and pepper flavor without wood or nuts. It also had a weekly anesthetic effect as it made my lips and cheek slightly numb. Very pleasant and relaxing smoke. I should have brought some more home.
