Interview with Desire Sylver.
We are very happy to be joined again by Desiree who is smoking a test cigar for a possible new blend.
They have been getting into new Brick and Mortar stores as well as putting out new sizes of the lines they carry. Folks had been asking about the different sizes and being in
12 different faces for the 5 different blends. The DCO and Mother Clucker have three different sizes and the rest of have two sizes.
Bill likes the Shorty Fat Hen and enjoys it as an end of the night cigar. Desiree likes the shorty Fat Hen as a lunch time cigar. How good is that.
We wanted to find out some more about what has been happening and this is what we found out!

When developing a new blend, Desiree works on the flavor of the leaves and they well they characteristics of the flavor go together. The goal is to enhance the leaves flavors that stands alone. After that, then smoking the blend with different liquors to check out the pairings. Desiree also likes to see how they flavor profile works with food. Going through and finding the perfect blend to be capable of being called a Drunk Chicken Cigar seems to be a lot of fun by listening to Desiree. We can’t wait to see what comes out next, but fully appreciate the process she has.
Quality:
Our own personal experience has been not having any issues with the quality of the cigar. The rollers do a great job, the wrappers are beautiful. Nothing but top notch construction, draw, and flavor.
Bands:
We really like bands. We found out that all the chickens on the bands come from images of chickens on her farm. Talk about bringing it home. How often do see that!
