This is a 6.25 x 60 stick. All Nicaraguan construction. Flavors of milk chocolate, spice, leather, and wood, with a nutty undertone. MSRP $8. For me this cigar is mostly woody with some spice. It’s smooth and always of good construction. The cap on this stick is really small. Be very careful when we you cut this one. We both used a V-cut which left enough of the cap to help keep the cigar together. Padron’s construction is top notch regardless if you get their $8 stick or $25 stick. We know that the less experienced rollers are put on the lower cost cigars, but they are still good. The quality control is maintained even on this stick. This is one of the reasons why you just can’t go wrong with any Padron. We were both a little disappointed that we could not get the chocolate flavor from it, but neither of us generally get the chocolate when it is in the description. The ash on this was solid. It did not want to come off. This is much preferred over the ash that just rains down on you. Bill got the leather, wood and nut flavors. I only got the chocolate in the very last inch. A very good stick. You won’t regret getting on of these.
On top of all that we felt that it went very well with the Old Fashioneds we made. It wasn’t combating any of the flavors and the Old Fashioned didn’t drowned out the drink. A good pairing.
